TiME Residency
A week-long, self-led residency in June 2025 at the school room in Narberth Museum, Pembrokeshire. Research, reading, thinking and making time and space, continuing to explore themes of deep time, crip time, queer time. Working with gathered Pembrokeshire earth pigment and plywood printing techniques on small and large scales, mask making and queering seasonal grief ritual.
“Queerness is constituted by its difference from conventional imperatives of time.”
Sara Jaffe. Queer Time: The Alternative to “Adulting.”
“But the earth is speaking to us all of the time. In every stone, it offers an eternal truth or good rule of thumb; in every leaf, a prototype power station, in every ecosystem, an exemplar of a healthy economy. In Aldo Leopold’s words, we need to start “thinking like a mountain” awake to all of the habits and inhabitants of this ancient, complicated, endlessly evolving world.”
Marcia Bjornerud. Timefulness.
Tending slow, earthed practice in a fallible, inconsistent body.
