1 - 1 Mentoring + Coaching

Grow Supportive, Sustainable, Compassion-Rooted Creative & Professional Practices

Welcome, it’s a pleasure to meet you

I offer one-to-one mentoring and coaching for people who want to nurture more supportive, sustainable, and compassion-rooted creative and professional lives.

I work with artists, creative and community-centred folks whose work is rooted in tending a better world into being, for themselves, the collective and the other-than-human. With a strong practice in cyclic and seasonal awareness, I hold space for action focused on upward growth as well as dying back, rest and renewal, centring the full range of human experience.

As a neurodivergent, queer, perimenopausal, and chronically ill person, I live the practice of tending a gentle, joyful life and work in systems not built for me.

This is an ever-emerging practice for me, and I know that we are better off together. i.e., I am right there alongside you, have no silver bullet magic answers and believe wholeheartedly in the active power of non-judgemental witnessing and facilitating self-directed learning and action. I’m here to listen deeply, hold space, and help you connect with your own voice and wisdom.

What do 1-to-1 sessions look like?

Mentoring and coaching both start from a place of active, compassionate listening, but they work a bit differently…

Who Might Benefit from One-to-One Sessions?

You might be drawn to mentoring or coaching if you are…

Mentoring

In mentoring sessions, I am guided by the questions you currently have in your practice and work. I reflect back your insights and ask questions to help you find your own path, and share from my own experience.

If you would like a conversational, troubleshooting dialogue about your practice, work and world, I recommend the mentoring option. I will not offer direct unsolicited advice or force suggestions to ‘do things like me’.

I will share from my experience where requested and appropriate; however, my practice is rooted in the positive regard and trust that you have the inklings within you, and that reconnecting again and again our intuitions and motivations within work and social systems that numb and decrease these connections, is a powerful and radical thing.

  • Looking to grow a new project that respects your energy and capacity

  • Wanting to create more space for making and creativity, personally or professionally

  • Ready to take your creative practice more seriously

  • Feeling overwhelmed with ideas and unsure where to start

Coaching

Your voice takes centre stage, with a supportive space to explore your thinking, overcome blocks, and build confidence and direction. I do not offer advice or feedback, but hold space for your own self-directed learning; throughout the coaching process, I am led and guided by you.

The key focus is for you to have a goal that you want to work towards. Coaching is a forward-focused modality that looks to grow from where you are in the present moment towards your vision and goals for your future.

I have recently completed my Relational Dynamics First Coaching Training, Level 7, with Debs Barnard MBE and am offering a number of free-of-charge coaching hours in exchange for feedback, as of May 2026. Head to the Discovery Call contact form <here> to get in touch and see if any slots are availaboe for this.

  • Interested in working with your inner and outer seasonal cycles to cultivate a creative life

  • A justice-sensitive soul seeking mutually supportive ways to engage with the world while caring of yourself

  • Wanting to share your work in ways that feel authentic, perhaps stepping off the social media merry-go-round

What You Can Expect

A nurturing space to listen to your own INKLINGS - those subtle, intuitive nudges - and grow the confidence to trust them. Support to take meaningful steps, sometimes small and invisible but profoundly significant, in a direction that truly works for you.

I bring a blend of attentive presence and grounded action—a place to hold what is real while moving forward. With 25 years of reflective and therapeutic self-development, I am a deep, intuitive listener who loves to support, validate, and cheerlead.

Living with Endometriosis, neurodivergence, and perimenopause, I embody a practice of kindness and compassion toward body and brain, alongside a keen awareness that our systems often fail to support these experiences.

I work seasonally, deeply connected to my Welsh homeland and the alchemy of inner and outer landscapes amid fast, violent and divisive systems.

I integrate critical theory into my work in direct and practical ways, through active anti-racism and intersectional practice and systems thinking/working. I am open to the confrontation and mess of this work and am finding ways and supportive contexts to centre my work in responsible non-violence.

  • You want practical, gentle guidance when you request it, to grow your creative and professional practices sustainably

Why Not Work With Me?

NB: I offer 20-minute Discovery Calls free of charge to see if we are a good fit.

Karn held the sessions sensitively with bright and inspiring energy. As we progressed through the weeks, they gently encouraged us out of our comfort zones which was both nerve-wracking, healing and empowering. I felt safe, inspired, held, heard and have since felt motivated to continue exploring and developing my writing practice.”

Sam - Write Club course attendee.
